Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bernardinho Moraes took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute Dráuzio Mendonça suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 3 played minutes Club Athletico Geek got a freekick which was hit by Willian Goiano. Vito de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Richard Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Richard Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vito de Moraes was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Vito de Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardinho Moraes in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Richard Guerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Club Athletico Geek's Bernardinho Moraes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vito de Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Vito de Moraes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Sousa went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 30 minutes of play, Club Athletico Geek's Richard Guerra made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vito de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inácio Cearense hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Ian Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardinho Moraes in the 45th minute of play forced Golden Bladers FC's goalkeeper Vito de Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Bernardinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vito de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mário Penha made a kick off. Leandro da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josué Paraíba in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Golden Bladers FC booed when Club Athletico Geek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardinho Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Golden Bladers FC booed when Club Athletico Geek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Munhoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Moraes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito de Moraes saved Golden Bladers FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Club Athletico Geek's Willian Goiano got a free kick in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Bernardinho Moraes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vito de Moraes. Bernardinho Moraes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Richard Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Vito de Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito de Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Athletico Geek getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Thiago Simões hit a great ball. In the 86th match minute, Golden Bladers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute, Yan Recife hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Renato Rosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Golden Bladers FC's Vito de Moraes didn't even have to move. Club Athletico Geek's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
