Clemente Fontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Papera's zone, Pedro Augusto Rosado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Pedro Vaz came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto Rosado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Augusto Rosado's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Teixeira in the 33rd minute of play forced Mulekada United FC's goalkeeper Clemente Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Pedro Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flavio Iztal in the 34th minute. Clemente Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arlindo Castro hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Rosado lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Zé Pedro Vaz. With a little luck, Papera's Zé Pedro Vaz got control of the ball when Pedro Augusto Rosado tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Pedro Augusto Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Pedro Vaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Conrado de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Flavio Iztal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Iztal in the 68th minute of play forced Papera's goalkeeper Zé Pedro Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustão Cerezo took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zé Pedro Vaz. Zé Pedro Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Joélson Barral charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson Barral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Papera booed when Mulekada United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joélson Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4-2 became the score in the 80th minute when Pedro Augusto Rosado elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Tiago da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mulekada United FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, Tiago da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th match minute, Mulekada United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joélson Barral to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Caco Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mulekada United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
