The referee ignored Santo Expedito FC's protests and gave Serginho Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Serginho Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Toque Me Voy's Silvinho Cearense got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Mateus de Sena made a precise shot to the right of Lenílson Vargas. Santo Expedito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Zé Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lenílson Vargas. Santo Expedito FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 20 minutes, Juarês Domingues mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo Expedito FC and the Toque Me Voy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lenílson Vargas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Ortiz in the 26th minute of the match. Albertinho de Sousa's late challenge caught a Santo Expedito FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albertinho de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Toque Me Voy getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Albertinho de Sousa hit a great ball. Lenílson Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus de Sena in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Ortiz in the 44th minute of play forced Santo Expedito FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Gustavo Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Albertinho de Sousa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lenílson Vargas. Albertinho de Sousa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Lenílson Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus de Sena went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 66thth minute of the game Zé Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santo Expedito FC's Lenílson Vargas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Santo Expedito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Ortiz came free, but Lenílson Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes Toque Me Voy got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Mazza. In the 74th minute, Mateus de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albertinho de Sousa got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 76 played minutes Toque Me Voy got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho de Sousa. After some careless play in the Santo Expedito FC defense, Zé Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenílson Vargas. The Santo Expedito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenílson Vargas should have stopped the shot. Mateus de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didi Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Vargas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Ortiz could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Lenílson Vargas however easily saved by the left post. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santo Expedito FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Toque Me Voy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Toque Me Voy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
