Albertinho de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Moraes in the 7th minute of play forced Toque Me Voy's goalkeeper Tiago Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Albertinho Lima came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Volta Redonda F. Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albertinho Lima couldn't finish the play. João Pedro Paiva made in the 13th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Volta Redonda F. Clube's Inácio Mandrak. 14 minutes into the match, Inácio Mandrak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Toque Me Voy's Tiago Torres. Tiago Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Toque Me Voy's Tiago Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. Albertinho de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Simões having to interfere. When Albertinho de Sousa fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toque Me Voy's protests and gave Albertinho de Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Volta Redonda F. Clube booed when Toque Me Voy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albertinho de Sousa was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a little luck, Toque Me Voy's Tiago Torres got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Dracena tried to sneak it across the goal line. Volta Redonda F. Clube's Manoel Quirino quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Silvinho Cearense, made in the 33rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Volta Redonda F. Clube's zone, Didi Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Simões came out of the goal and Didi Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Mandrak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Torres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 40 played minutes Volta Redonda F. Clube got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Dracena.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Enrique Moraes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tiago Torres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the match, Enrique Moraes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiago Torres. Toque Me Voy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Moraes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 70 minutes into the match, Volta Redonda F. Clube's Enrique Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiago Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Moraes went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Paulo Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Toque Me Voy's Tiago Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Lima in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Volta Redonda F. Clube getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Remo Moraes hit a great ball. Sílvio Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus de Sena in the 86th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Toque Me Voy got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Quintal. When the referee ended the match the Volta Redonda F. Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
