Spectators: 7051 (Terracing: 5700, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 151) Maia FC's Wilton Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Maia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Bueno to maneuver through the defense. Attila Bódog's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Fábio Corrêa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 7 minutes into the game, Tomé Teles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poderosas fc the free kick. In the 13th minute, Tadeu de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Amadeu Porto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fábio Corrêa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Attila Bódog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Attila Bódog came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fábio Corrêa could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Wilton Rocha put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamim Matos. Attila Bódog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maia FC's Wilton Rocha got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfredão Bueno hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Attila Bódog to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Tomé Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Matos having to interfere. Fábio Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Bódog in the 67th minute of play. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Amadeu Porto sped through Maia FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fábio Corrêa. Hermínio França kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Maia FC's Wilton Rocha slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamim Matos. That made the score 2-2 after 85 minutes of play. Tony Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamim Matos having to interfere. After taking down the ball on Poderosas fc's corner Amadeu Porto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fábio Corrêa quite easily take care of the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
