Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felippe Lira kicked off to start the match. Severo's Claudinho Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felippe Lira in the 3rd minute of play. In the 6th minute, Maurício de Souza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinho Tróia. The goal made the score 1-0. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Felippe Lira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Claudinho Tróia to make any attempt to save it. If Dorival Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Maurício de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, Severo's goalkeeper Claudinho Tróia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurício de Souza. After 24 played minutes Vila Jacui got a freekick which was hit by Dorival Pires. In the 29th minute, Felippe Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agnaldo Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Claudinho Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Lira in the 41st minute of play. Maurício de Souza took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Tróia. Claudinho Tróia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 46th minute, Aírton Secco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the match, Vila Jacui's Felippe Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinho Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Durvalino Pirani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Severo got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Arantes. Felippe Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Claudinho Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dorival Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudinho Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Souza in the 61st minute of play. If Felippe Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 68 minutes on the clock, Ivo Negri commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 68 minutes into the game, one of Vila Jacui:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dênis Castro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A sloppy throw-in by Bebeto Pinho in the 74th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Vila Jacui's Nilmar Couto. Maurício de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Tróia having to interfere. When Maurício de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Vila Jacui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício de Souza couldn't finish the play. Cauan de Castro made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilmar Couto. Claudinho Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Souza in the 81st minute of play. Vila Jacui's Nilmar Couto got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maurício de Souza took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudinho Tróia. Claudinho Tróia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Claudinho Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maurício de Souza went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Dorival Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Claudinho Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Severo getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. José Augusto Arantes hit a great ball. Dorival Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Tróia having to interfere.
