Hélio Luz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hélio Luz came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila Jacui's Nilmar Couto. But to his dismay, Nilmar Couto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tião Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Agnaldo Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livramento A.F.C. In the 20th minute, Gláuber de Senna fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agnaldo Chaves, passed just outside the right post.
