After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Wanderson Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapua AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Wanderson Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafinha Pimenta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BURRO DA CHACARA wg's Rafinha Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cerezo in the 6th minute of play. Rafinha Pimenta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After 23 played minutes BURRO DA CHACARA wg got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Proença. Rafinha Pimenta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Wanderson Dracena put in a rough tackle. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Itapua AD! In the 35th minute, Fred Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Itapua AD booed when BURRO DA CHACARA wg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Proença didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Mendonça in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafinha Pimenta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rafinha Pimenta came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Itapua AD's Aníbal Mendonça. But to his dismay, Aníbal Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Igor Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldão Mendes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rafinha Pimenta. That made the score 1-3 in the 52 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Pena during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesley Barreto in the 59th minute of play forced Itapua AD's goalkeeper Sydney Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benê Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Sydney Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eriberto Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aníbal Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Pimenta having to interfere. Eriberto Campidelis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafinha Pimenta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Rafinha Pimenta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldão Mendes in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Itapua AD's Aníbal Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafinha Pimenta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aníbal Mendonça in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafinha Pimenta saved BURRO DA CHACARA wg from getting behind. BURRO DA CHACARA wg's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Igor Cerezo 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Thanks to some nice moves Carlinhos Castro could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Rafinha Pimenta however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute Aníbal Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafinha Pimenta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Rafinha Pimenta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapua AD. The BURRO DA CHACARA wg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itapua AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
