Décio de Queirós hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Miguel Arantes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. BURRO DA CHACARA wg's Rafinha Pimenta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelson Domingues in the 40th minute of play. With an all-out effort, C.A. Travinha's Rafinha Pimenta threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mariano Eduino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

If Mariano Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Giovanni Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the BURRO DA CHACARA wg defense, Miguel Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafinha Pimenta. The BURRO DA CHACARA wg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafinha Pimenta should have stopped the shot.
