Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Barborema's Ismael Gaspar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Frank Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Vila Jacui's Felippe Lira to fire away a dangerous shot which Ander Lokko despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gino Quintal charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gino Quintal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gino Quintal hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Ismael Gaspar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vila Jacui's Agnaldo Chaves. Agnaldo Chaves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute of the game Luís Fábio Leal made a throw-in which Dorival Pires played forward. Ander Lokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Lira in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Barborema's Sandrinho Zanette made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agnaldo Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Vila Jacui getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gino Quintal hit a great ball. Agnaldo Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Gaspar in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Norberto Fantini notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Barborema's Ander Lokko. Ander Lokko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 37 minutes into the game, Frank Trancoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barborema's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vila Jacui the free kick. In the 37th minute, Frank Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Fantini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandrinho Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vila Jacui's Agnaldo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Trancoso in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Frank Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Barborema was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Cardozo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Barborema were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ander Lokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Lira in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Barborema getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Barborema's Ander Lokko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Couto in the 56th minute of play. Ander Lokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felippe Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agnaldo Chaves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Gaspar went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ander Lokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Lira in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Barborema got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Gaspar. Norberto Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Fantini in the 84th minute of play forced Barborema's goalkeeper Ander Lokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Lira in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ander Lokko saved Barborema from getting behind. In the 90th minute Norberto Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ander Lokko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ander Lokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Fantini in the 94th minute of play. Ander Lokko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Lira in the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play Barborema's Frank Trancoso was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Barborema's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
