Mateus de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 10th play minutes Carlos Eduardo Tande shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Eliseu Sabóia and just under the crossbar into goal. Mateus de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denílson Leão in the 15th minute of play. Mateus de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldinho Leme in the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Murilo Proença was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrada das Areias FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nilgolzerazon the free kick. Murilo Proença hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes Estrada das Areias FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Moreno. Carlos Eduardo Tande struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eliseu Sabóia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilgolzerazon. After 31 played minutes Estrada das Areias FC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Nunes. 34 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Leão came free, but Mateus de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Eduardo Tande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eliseu Sabóia came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlos Eduardo Tande slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Eliseu Sabóia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hieronim Barowicz in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Estrada das Areias FC's Hudson da Costa got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Hudson da Costa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 46 minutes had been played. The supporters of Nilgolzerazon booed when Estrada das Areias FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldinho Leme was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's goalkeeper Mateus de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Leme. Hieronim Barowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Eliseu Sabóia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Nilgolzerazon's goalkeeper Mateus de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldinho Leme. Osvaldinho Leme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Mateus de Almeida made a huge save. Mateus de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Osvaldinho Leme sent off a good shot on target. When Carlos Eduardo Tande came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Nilgolzerazon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Tande couldn't finish the play. Eliseu Sabóia came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Nilgolzerazon's Hieronim Barowicz. But to his dismay, Hieronim Barowicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Danilo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Willian Gomes hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nilgolzerazon's goalkeeper Mateus de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mateus de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldinho Leme in the 87th minute. If Carlos Eduardo Tande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilgolzerazon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Estrada das Areias FC for a fine match.
