After 5 played minutes Canes City F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Borges. Viralitro FC's Lino da Cunha came free and shot a quick shot against goal 9 minutes in the game, fortunately Lautaro Martinez had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Lino da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lautaro Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Viralitro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Sarmento came free, but Sydney Tavares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Luisão Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Lautaro Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viralitro FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Augusto Maia in the 27th minute of play forced Canes City F.C's goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot by Samuca Arce from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Lautaro Martinez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lino da Cunha charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino da Cunha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Lino da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Canes City F.C's Lautaro Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Canes City F.C from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Martinez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robinho Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Olívio Vieira was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for João Augusto Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Lino da Cunha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lautaro Martinez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldinho Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Augusto Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Martinez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lino da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viralitro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Martinez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lino da Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisão Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino da Cunha in the 70th minute of play forced Canes City F.C's goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sydney Tavares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisão Sarmento in the 72nd minute of the match. Lino da Cunha might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Martinez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino da Cunha ran back to his position shaking his head. João Augusto Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Martinez having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino da Cunha in the 90th minute of play forced Canes City F.C's goalkeeper Lautaro Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Viralitro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
