After a defensive mix-up in Tenente FC's zone, Francisco Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dé Secco came out of the goal and Francisco Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Luís Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 75 minutes, Lúcio Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tenente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lúcio Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Tenente FC booed when Fulumir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Falcão didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Leonardo de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tenente FC's Marco Costa suffered a sore thigh after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Fulumir's Enio Prata got a free kick in the 85th minute.
