Falcão Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Siqueira in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, SportClub Laranja Mecanic's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Quadros came free, but Falcão Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, SportClub Laranja Mecanic's goalkeeper Falcão Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franklin Siqueira. In the 28th minute, Ulysses Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Meireles having to interfere. Falcão Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel da Mata went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Falcão Meireles was a little too slow when Franklin Siqueira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 4-0. Falcão Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Velasco in the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the game, Chaves EC's Franklin Siqueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Falcão Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Koray Demirtuğ successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Josué Cunha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Falcão Meireles. SportClub Laranja Mecanic's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 67 minutes of play, Chaves EC's Franklin Siqueira made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the match, Joaquim Dracena dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Koray Demirtuğ, 7-1. In the 79th minute, Michel da Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Falcão Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Velasco in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Joaquim Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koray Demirtuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
