Amanirenas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Barbosa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Chiquinho Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emin Kaan in the 12th minute of play. Emin Kaan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. The referee ignored Neto FC's protests and gave Arthur Lima a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Neto FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Arthur Lima hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Dudu Vasconcelos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Dudu Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Emin Kaan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Chiquinho Capixaba, passed just outside the right post. In the 56th minute, Emin Kaan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neto FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of Neto FC booed when Amanirenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Emin Kaan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emin Kaan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chiquinho Capixaba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Freitas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Vasconcelos in the 75th minute of the match. Carlos Freitas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 88th match minute, Neto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Sá to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes Amanirenas got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Silva. Chiquinho Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emin Kaan in the 98th minute. The Amanirenas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neto FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
