The Vasco da Gama Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Moreira should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho de Azevedo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Moreira saved Vasco da Gama Clube from getting behind. SC ITAJAI's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
