Spectators: 7470 (Terracing: 5621, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Juninho Gaspar made the kick off which started today's match. Juninho Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz Monteiro in the 6th minute of play forced FOX Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fryderyk Walkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fryderyk Walkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, FOX Futebol Clube's Lino Silveira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Válter Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Dito Tavares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Válter Moreira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 24 minutes into the match, Noel Trigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Válter Moreira. Faisca FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Trigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. José Augusto Linhares's late challenge caught a Faisca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, FOX Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Augusto Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Fryderyk Walkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Salvidor in the 29th minute of play. Juninho Gaspar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 31st playminute. The FOX Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 43rd minute, Faisca FC's Sílvio Luiz Monteiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lino Silveira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Faisca FC's Válter Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dito Tavares in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute of the match, Lino Silveira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Válter Moreira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Válter Moreira made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Noel Trigo sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Lino Silveira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Válter Moreira. The goal made the score 3-5. In the 68th minute Juninho Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Virgílio Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Walkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Gildo Vaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Faisca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. 80 minutes into the match, FOX Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Salvidor came free, but Fryderyk Walkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, Faisca FC's Sílvio Luiz Monteiro made it 5-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Walkowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fryderyk Walkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Salvidor in the 85th minute of play. Faisca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Lino Silveira scored to the left of an out of position Válter Moreira, making the score, 5-6. Lino Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Moreira having to interfere. Válter Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dito Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FOX Futebol Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
