An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Melo in the 62nd minute of play forced BETIMFC's goalkeeper Toninho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Edmundo Lira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gwidon Awizo. The goal made the score 1-1. Egídio Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarbas Tasso in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toninho Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, BETIMFC's Luiz Eduardo Vander got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jarbas Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Loureiro having to make a save. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
