A beautiful save bye Guaraniaçu PR's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraniaçu PR's zone, Jean Travassos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simão Ramalho came out of the goal and Jean Travassos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simão Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Travassos in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir de Medeiros in the 13th minute of play forced Guaraniaçu PR's goalkeeper Simão Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Waldir de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, BETIMFC's Waldir de Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Ramalho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guaraniaçu PR's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Waldir de Medeiros 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Toninho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Corrêa in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guaraniaçu PR's goalkeeper Simão Ramalho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Simão Ramalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Travassos in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Giuseppe Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Ramalho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Waldir de Medeiros. Edmundo Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Loureiro came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Guaraniaçu PR's Mateus de Sousa. But to his dismay, Mateus de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Guaraniaçu PR's goalkeeper Simão Ramalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Travassos. Simão Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir de Medeiros in the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The supporters of BETIMFC booed when Guaraniaçu PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateus de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldir de Medeiros took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Ramalho. Simão Ramalho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 59th minute of the match, Victor Trancoso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Toninho Loureiro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rdth minute of the game Jean Travassos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraniaçu PR's Simão Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victor Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Toninho Loureiro having to make a save. Simão Ramalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Travassos in the 78th minute of the match. Waldir de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Simão Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When BETIMFC's Waldir de Medeiros in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
