Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 149) After a rather tough play, Faisca FC's Juninho Gaspar got a free kick in the 6th minute. Válter Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Dias in the 7th minute of play. Juninho Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Régis Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Maciel in the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Vasco da Gama Clube's zone, Antonio Salvidor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Régis Moreira came out of the goal and Antonio Salvidor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vasco da Gama Clube getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Murillo Breckenfeld hit a great ball. Válter Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gino de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Juninho Gaspar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Régis Moreira made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, Vasco da Gama Clube's goalkeeper Régis Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Gaspar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Dias in the 27th minute of play forced Faisca FC's goalkeeper Válter Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Salvidor in the 29th minute of play forced Vasco da Gama Clube's goalkeeper Régis Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Salvidor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Régis Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Virgílio Cearense's late challenge caught a Vasco da Gama Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Virgílio Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Faisca FC's Virgílio Cearense got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Fiori Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Vasco da Gama Clube's Manuel Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Válter Moreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Murillo Breckenfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murillo Breckenfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Murillo Breckenfeld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Salvidor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 48th minute. Faisca FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Dias to make the kick off. Régis Moreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Régis Moreira came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Faisca FC's Antonio Salvidor. But to his dismay, Antonio Salvidor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Juninho Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Fiori Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasco da Gama Clube and the Faisca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vasco da Gama Clube's Fiori Rocha got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Antonio Salvidor made a precise shot to the right of Régis Moreira. Vasco da Gama Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Antonio Salvidor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Régis Moreira having to make a save. When Antonio Salvidor came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Faisca FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Salvidor couldn't finish the play. Eliseu Prestes lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Faisca FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vasco da Gama Clube:s goal. Fiori Rocha took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Válter Moreira. Válter Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Amadeu Massa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Despite being the better team, Faisca FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
