Caio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Distra's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anselmo Saraiva fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 19 minutes into the game, Ediberto Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Distra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roma Sc the free kick. Ediberto Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Distra's Willian Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sidnei Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 27th minute, Vinícius Coutinho made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Pombal. Roma Sc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Ediberto Prata got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 35 played minutes Distra got a freekick which was hit by Ediberto Prata. In the 40th minute, Anselmo Saraiva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Edgar Souza could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Niels Pierewaaijer however easily saved by the left post. 44 minutes into the match, Roma Sc's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Paranaense came free, but Sidnei Pombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Roma Sc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. In the 46thth minute of the game Willian Paranaense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roma Sc's Sidnei Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Roma Sc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Distra were winning 0-3.

When Edgar Souza came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Roma Sc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Souza couldn't finish the play. Niels Pierewaaijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Distra's Niels Pierewaaijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Souza in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Paranaense in the 60th minute of play forced Roma Sc's goalkeeper Sidnei Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edgar Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Caio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgar Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Pierewaaijer having to interfere. When Dida Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Roma Sc's protests and gave Dida Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Roma Sc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Valadares to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Willian Paranaense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sidnei Pombal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Distra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
