Basílio Nogueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serginho Tasso got his second yellow card in the match during the 71st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Juvenal Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséias Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sidnei Pombal having to make a save. Sidnei Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano França in the 78th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Guaramirim-FSCMZ's goalkeeper Basílio Nogueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Souza. A collision led to Roma Sc getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Dida Valadares hit a great ball. Osman Ali Nurettin, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Roma Sc's Sidnei Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Porto in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
