Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lúcio Vides started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Inhauma FC defense, Júlio Zonta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Paulo Gerber. The Inhauma FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Paulo Gerber should have stopped the shot. Zé Carlos de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Lenílson Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lenílson Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Carlos de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Amílton Gaspar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lenílson Magalhães. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 35th minute Zé Carlos de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute, Reynaldo Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballarz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. A hard shot 42 in the game by Lúcio Vides from a close distance when the talented Lenílson Magalhães managed to make a qualified save. Ballarz's players were relieved. José Paulo Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Zonta in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto Félix in the 46th minute of play forced Inhauma FC's goalkeeper José Paulo Gerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Umberto Félix to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ballarz's Reynaldo Baiano got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Rafa Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lenílson Magalhães having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Ballarz's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Carlos de Lima came free, but Lenílson Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Júlio Zonta lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated José Paulo Gerber. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Umberto Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ballarz walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
