The referee ignored Distra's protests and gave Willian Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. Nome do Time's Pål Rudkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Coutinho in the 6th minute of play. Vinícius Coutinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Rudkvist having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Caio Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pål Rudkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gilvan de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilvan de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gilvan de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Distra's Vinícius Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmed Chipo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niels Pierewaaijer was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Valdir Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valdir Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Vinícius Coutinho notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Nome do Time's Pål Rudkvist. Pål Rudkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 24th minute, Caio Travassos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Pedro Lucas put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Pål Rudkvist. Pål Rudkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Coutinho in the 33rd minute of play. Pål Rudkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Nome do Time getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Idriz Kaja hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, Nome do Time's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Coutinho came free, but Pål Rudkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Rudkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Paranaense in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Tony Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vinícius Coutinho to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Vinícius Coutinho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Distra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Distra's Niels Pierewaaijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Rodrigues in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Distra booed when Nome do Time was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmed Chipo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pål Rudkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Nome do Time getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Cássio Xavier hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Willian Paranaense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Rudkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Nome do Time's goalkeeper Pål Rudkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinícius Coutinho. Vinícius Coutinho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pål Rudkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Vinícius Coutinho slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Distra's Willian Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pål Rudkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7. If Willian Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Distra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Caio Travassos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Distra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nome do Time the free kick. Caio Travassos kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Vinícius Coutinho did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-8 to the left of a surprised Pål Rudkvist 84 minutes into the match. Pål Rudkvist stood somewhat misplaced when Willian Paranaense came free in front of goal and shot 1-10 to the left of him in the 93 minute. During the 96th minute of the match Caio Travassos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Caio Travassos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Distra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
