The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Distra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Distra's Niels Pierewaaijer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Lucas in the 4th minute of play. Niels Pierewaaijer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilton Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Distra booed when Otto Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Raphael Porto with Juninho de Azevedo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Wilton Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otto Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niels Pierewaaijer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Waldemar Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Mendonça having to interfere. Niels Pierewaaijer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Ramalho in the 37th minute of the match. Caetano Mendonça made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Vinícius Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. Vinícius Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Otto Clube's Wilton Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Pierewaaijer having to interfere. Vinícius Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael Porto during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Distra's Raphael Porto got a free kick in the 65th minute. Niels Pierewaaijer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Wilton Ramalho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. After 70 played minutes Otto Clube got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Lucas. Willian Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willian Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Willian Paranaense hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Wilton Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vinícius Coutinho in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Mendonça saved Otto Clube from getting behind. In the 91st minute of the match Augusto Araújo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caetano Mendonça showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Otto Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Distra.
