Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anselmo Saraiva made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Roma Sc's zone, Wilton Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Pombal came out of the goal and Wilton Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caetano Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Saraiva in the 6th minute of the match. Christian Peres kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilton Ramalho got free with Sidnei Pombal in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wilton Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Pombal having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Olavo Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Otto Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Olavo Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Ramalho in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Pombal saved Roma Sc from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Roma Sc's Serginho Tasso got a free kick in the 16th minute. Wilton Ramalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Sidnei Pombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wilton Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Otto Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilton Ramalho couldn't finish the play. Olavo Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Pombal having to interfere. Serginho Tasso's late challenge caught a Otto Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Tasso helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Roma Sc got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Tasso. After 23 played minutes Roma Sc got a freekick which was hit by Dida Valadares. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Wilton Ramalho put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sidnei Pombal. 28 minutes into the match, Otto Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Souza came free, but Caetano Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Roma Sc's Vinícius Sergipano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vinícius Sergipano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Roma Sc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vinícius Sergipano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Roma Sc:s Sidnei Pombal showed great skill when he stopped Lucas Pereira:s penalty. In the 33rd minute, Otto Clube's Olavo Lucas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Edgar Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caetano Mendonça having to make a save. In the 37th match minute, Roma Sc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Santana to maneuver through the defense. Sidnei Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilton Ramalho in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Roma Sc defense, Wilton Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sidnei Pombal. The Roma Sc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sidnei Pombal should have stopped the shot. 45 minutes into the game, José Ramalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roma Sc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Otto Clube the free kick. The supporters of Otto Clube booed when Roma Sc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47thth minute of the game Wilton Ramalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roma Sc's Sidnei Pombal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilton Ramalho to strike the kick off in the second half. Sidnei Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 64 played minutes Otto Clube got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Pereira. After 67 played minutes Roma Sc got a freekick which was hit by João Santana. Sidnei Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Lucas in the 71st minute of play. Olavo Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Otto Clube's Caetano Mendonça got control of the ball when Edgar Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilton Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Ramalho in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidnei Pombal saved Roma Sc from getting behind. Dida Valadares in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Caetano Mendonça, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dida Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dida Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Otto Clube booed when Roma Sc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dida Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roma Sc's Edgar Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Otto Clube fully deserved thier win.
