After 4 played minutes Zorgetz got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Pinheiro. When Walmyr Silveira fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porongos's protests and gave Walmyr Silveira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porongos getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Walmyr Silveira hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Porongos's goal looked a bit too open when Ademir Mangueira came free, but Christiano Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Mangueira in the 23rd minute of play forced Porongos's goalkeeper Christiano Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christiano Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Eger in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Porongos's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Oliveira came free, but Christiano Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Porongos defense, Ademir Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christiano Castro. The Porongos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christiano Castro should have stopped the shot. Christiano Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Porongos's Christiano Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademir Mangueira in the 57th minute of play. If Arí Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorgetz's Michel Eger couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Porongos. Arí Oliveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christiano Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Arí Oliveira slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Oliveira in the 73rd minute of play forced Porongos's goalkeeper Christiano Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ademir Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Christiano Castro made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Ademir Mangueira could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Christiano Castro however easily saved by the left post. Adrianinho Ferraz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Christiano Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorgetz. Christiano Castro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ademir Mangueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Zorgetz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
