If Anísio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney de Lara in the 32nd minute of play forced Tamboral's goalkeeper Gustavo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anísio Araújo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Carioca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 56 minutes, Cauan Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abade and the Tamboral players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Abade got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Godoi. After 57 minutes, Lauro do Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamboral and the Abade players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tamboral's Lauro do Vale got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tamboral's Gustavo Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Araújo in the 59th minute of play. When Victor Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abade's protests and gave Victor Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. Lauro do Vale hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Abade booed when Tamboral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Abade walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
