Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Luís Guilherme Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Carioca having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Magno Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trikoliro FC and the Tamboral players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Soares hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Tamboral got a freekick which was hit by Mané de Andrade.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luís Guilherme Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Mané de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. When Hortêncio Carvalho fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamboral's protests and gave Hortêncio Carvalho a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, Tamboral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hortêncio Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Virgílio Albuquerque could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Elkin Paradela however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Carioca saved Tamboral from getting behind. Victor Chevereșan lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 63 minutes into the game, one of Trikoliro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tamboral a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marquinhos Bastos, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Trikoliro FC's Elkin Paradela. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Ortiz in the 69th minute of play forced Tamboral's goalkeeper Gustavo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Luís Guilherme Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trikoliro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trikoliro FC fully deserved thier win.
