Santo André FC's Clóvis Talló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Araújo in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Dário Bueno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santo André FC and the Abade players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Santo André FC's Dário Bueno got a free kick in the 5th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Patrick Gomes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Patrick Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Cícero Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abade's Anísio Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 18 in the game by Dário Bueno from a close distance when the talented Cícero Berger managed to make a qualified save. Abade's players were relieved. Dário Bueno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Cícero Berger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Abade got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Godoi. Abade's Cícero Berger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Abade from getting a goal against them. If Patrick Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Abade's Anísio Araújo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clóvis Talló narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Dário Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clóvis Talló came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Abade's Anísio Araújo. But to his dismay, Anísio Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Clóvis Talló didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sydney de Lara went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Clóvis Talló took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anísio Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in Pedro Paulo Chaves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santo André FC's Clóvis Talló did a great save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anísio Araújo to make the kick off. When Dário Bueno came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Santo André FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dário Bueno couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Sydney de Lara made a precise shot to the right of Clóvis Talló. Santo André FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Santo André FC defense, Sydney de Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clóvis Talló. The Santo André FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clóvis Talló should have stopped the shot. Bruninho Pimenta's late challenge caught a Abade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruninho Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Bruninho Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Anísio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santo André FC the free kick. Cícero Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Cícero Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Bueno in the 77th minute of play. Sydney de Lara's late challenge caught a Santo André FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sydney de Lara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Sydney de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Abade's goal looked a bit too open when Dário Bueno came free, but Cícero Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
