After the first half Trikoliro FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Baiao's Ricardinho Velloso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lucas Vale in the 58 minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Guilherme Ortiz got free with Christian Magalhães in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd match minute, Baiao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvinho Velloso to maneuver through the defense.
