The Tamboral players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taquari United FC were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Nunes made a kick off. Marquinhos Bastos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Perivaldo Meireles. Taquari United FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Perivaldo Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Nunes in the 69th minute of play forced Tamboral's goalkeeper Gustavo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
