Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Anísio Araújo got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Sydney de Lara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Falcão Duarte, passed just outside the right post. 20 minutes into the game, Hamílton Secco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aroeiral SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abade the free kick. Hamílton Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Anísio Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sydney de Lara got free with Falcão Duarte in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Duarte having to interfere. If Anísio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Falcão Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney de Lara in the 34th minute. The supporters of Abade booed when Aroeiral SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Victor Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Flavinho Ceresso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aroeiral SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavinho Ceresso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cícero Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Anísio Araújo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Falcão Duarte. The goal made the score 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Víktor Lucas made the kick off in the second half. When Víktor Lucas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Aroeiral SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Víktor Lucas couldn't finish the play. Abade's Cícero Berger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Abade from getting a goal against them. Flavinho Ceresso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cícero Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Aroeiral SC's Cícero Berger threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Víktor Lucas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sydney de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Anísio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Abade's goalkeeper Cícero Berger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavinho Ceresso. After 71 minutes of play Aroeiral SC's Hamílton Secco was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Abade booed when Aroeiral SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Aroeiral SC's Murilo Torres got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Anísio Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Aroeiral SC's zone, Sydney de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Duarte came out of the goal and Sydney de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Sydney de Lara elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Abade's Anísio Araújo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Falcão Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Abade players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
