When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Tomé da Mata sped through Abade's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cícero Berger. Cauã Quadros took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cícero Berger. Cícero Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Tomé da Mata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abade's Cícero Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauã Quadros in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Atlético Livramentense got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Sá. Cauã Quadros struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Cícero Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Livramentense. Cícero Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomé da Mata went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Tomé da Mata made a precise shot to the right of Cícero Berger. Abade's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anísio Araújo was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Abade got a freekick which was hit by Victor Sergipano. Anísio Araújo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Cauã Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Livramentense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Tomé da Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cícero Berger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. With a little luck, Abade's Cícero Berger got control of the ball when Tomé da Mata tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino de Sousa's late challenge caught a Abade's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dino de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Dino de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomé da Mata got free with Cícero Berger in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sydney de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cícero Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Quadros in the 79th minute of the match. Hortêncio Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Atlético Livramentense's Tomé da Mata ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cícero Berger. Cícero Berger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. A collision led to Abade getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Victor Sergipano hit a great ball. Cícero Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cauã Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Cícero Berger came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Livramentense's Tomé da Mata. But to his dismay, Tomé da Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Cícero Berger made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Tomé da Mata sent off a good shot on target. The Abade fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atlético Livramentense were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
