But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Velasco couldn't finish the play. Anestis Protopsaltiss short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Nilton Pinheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Kalango FC defense, Ragıp Buyruk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nilton Pinheiro. The Kalango FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nilton Pinheiro should have stopped the shot. Nilton Pinheiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilton Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ragıp Buyruk in the 96th minute of play. RS Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
