Gustavo de Godoi came out of the goal and Ernesto Trevisan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Paulista notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Parauapebas's Ronaldão Viana. Ronaldão Viana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th minute, Isac Măgură hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ronaldão Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Perivaldo Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Durvalino das Neves made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ronaldinho Paulista. 45 minutes into the game, Parauapebas's Isac Măgură nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo de Godoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. Durvalino das Neves got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luiz Eduardo Cardoso. Ronaldinho Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Viana having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Parauapebas's goalkeeper Ronaldão Viana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Fonseca. Ronaldão Viana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Pedro Moraes's late challenge caught a HELLO KITTY F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Pedro Moraes helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Parauapebas got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Moraes. In the 95th minute of the match Osvaldo Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ronaldão Viana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match was over HELLO KITTY F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Parauapebas throughout the match.
