Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Aguilhadas's Enio Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eriberto Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Zé Augusto Arce was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Zé Augusto Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Enio Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguilhadas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enio Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Aguilhadas's Tomás Godoi got a free kick in the 9th minute. Zé Pedro Vianna took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Maurinho de Brito. Aguilhadas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Godoi in the 12th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Tande made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Célio Salgado sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute, Luiz Paulo Paulista fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Eriberto Prestes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Enio Abreu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Gustavo Tande skillfully saved the ball. Luís Gustavo Tande made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Célio Salgado sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Abreu in the 29th minute of play forced Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Aguilhadas booed when Thorin SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Thorin SC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Senna came free, but Luís Gustavo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Bastos's late challenge caught a Thorin SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. Eriberto Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurinho de Brito having to interfere.

52 minutes into the match, Tomás Godoi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande. Luís Gustavo Tande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Adilson Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Aguilhadas getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Reynaldo Bastos hit a great ball. The supporters of Aguilhadas booed when Thorin SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Enio Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Gustavo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd match minute, Thorin SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. After 73 minutes of play, Aguilhadas's Enio Abreu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute, Aguilhadas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Adriano Zonta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The throw-in from Leopoldo Barbosa in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Thorin SC's Eriberto Prestes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Abreu in the 82nd minute of play forced Thorin SC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Adriano Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho de Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Thorin SC's Eriberto Prestes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Hugo Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thorin SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Aguilhadas's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Prestes came free, but Maurinho de Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aguilhadas had won after a very even match.
