Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elias Lucas made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Válter Nóbrega tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anacleto Abalos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 9th minute, Jânio Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Piraputanga's goal looked a bit too open when Róbert Sivý came free, but Luiz Fábio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fábio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Baiano in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jânio Baiano in the 15th minute of play forced Piraputanga's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válter Nóbrega's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Anacleto Abalos firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 20 minutes Marucupari's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexandre Donatello who took care of the corner kick. Bruno Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 25 minutes into the game, Ciro Netto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Luiz Fábio Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luiz Fábio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Baiano in the 29th minute of play. Humberto Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humberto Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th match minute, Piraputanga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute, Ciro Netto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fábio Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 46th minute Róbert Sivý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
Alexandre Donatello hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Humberto Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Marucupari's Fiori Neiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luiz Fábio Zonta. Luiz Fábio Zonta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. With his leg Luiz Fábio Zonta managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Marucupari's Róbert Sivý fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Netto in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Fábio Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Fábio Zonta came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Marucupari's Róbert Sivý. But to his dismay, Róbert Sivý quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In a very dangerous position, a player in Piraputanga fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Marucupari's Jânio Baiano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luiz Fábio Zonta. Piraputanga's Luiz Fábio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Sivý in the 79th minute of play. Róbert Sivý received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Fábio Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Róbert Sivý slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 80th minute. Luiz Fábio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Montenegro in the 85th minute of the match. Ciro Netto hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Netto got free with Luiz Fábio Zonta in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Marucupari booed when Piraputanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luiz Fábio Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbert Sivý in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Sivý in the 95th minute of play forced Piraputanga's goalkeeper Luiz Fábio Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Dionísio was shown his second yellow card after 98 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 98 played minutes Piraputanga got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Dionísio. Marucupari's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
