Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jacuarana's Alessandro Perez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Imperatriz - MA's Wágner Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei Godoi in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute of the match, Vinícius Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wágner Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Imperatriz - MA defense, Alberto Pontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Amorim. The Imperatriz - MA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Amorim should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Alberto Pontes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacuarana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 22 minutes into the match, Jacuarana's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Motta came free, but Guga Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wágner Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Perez in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Imperatriz - MA's Nildo Motta made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guga Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinei Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Wágner Amorim made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Imperatriz - MA's zone, Claudinei Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner Amorim came out of the goal and Claudinei Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Imperatriz - MA's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Perez came free, but Wágner Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudinei Godoi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wágner Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudinei Godoi slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 38th minute. Imperatriz - MA's Wágner Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Imperatriz - MA from getting a goal against them. Wágner Amorim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 7-1. In the 46th minute, Alberto Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wágner Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1.

There was no doubt that Jacuarana were the better team. Jacuarana's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
