The supporters of Ubiratan Esporte Clube booed when Silveirania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oséias Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Pedro Viana in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton de Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Silveirania! In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Ubiratan Esporte Clube. Giovanni Damião stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Charles Meirelles. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Gilberto Salomone slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Charles Meirelles. That made the score 3-0 after 29 minutes of play. Giovanni Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oséias Oliveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Hílton de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silveirania's Charles Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Prado in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Damião in the 100th minute of play forced Silveirania's goalkeeper Charles Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ubiratan Esporte Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Silveirania had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
