The Ubiratan Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton de Sousa should have stopped the shot. Hílton de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jânio Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Hílton de Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Róbert Sivý in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Damião in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anacleto Abalos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tarcisio de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anacleto Abalos made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Betinho Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Fiori Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Hílton de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Sivý in the 22nd minute of play. Anacleto Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giovanni Damião in the 32nd minute. Anacleto Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Netto in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Tarcisio de Mendonça could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Anacleto Abalos however easily saved by the left post. Anacleto Abalos made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Giovanni Damião sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarcisio de Mendonça got free with Anacleto Abalos in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hílton de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Netto in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Marucupari were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Anacleto Abalos came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Felippe Zanette. But to his dismay, Felippe Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gilberto Salomone scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anacleto Abalos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hílton de Sousa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Róbert Sivý sent off a good shot on target. When Ubiratan Esporte Clube's Giovanni Damião in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marucupari's goalie prevented a goal. Juvenal Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. When Róbert Sivý came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Marucupari fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Sivý couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Marucupari's Flavinho Reis got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute of the match Giovanni Damião sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anacleto Abalos skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Marucupari's João Carlos Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton de Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Róbert Sivý shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori Neiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 93rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Felippe Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Abalos having to interfere. Ubiratan Esporte Clube were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Marucupari for a fine match.
