Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alessandro Perez started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Oséias Oliveira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Guga Lira, passed just outside the right post. After 14 minutes of play, Jacuarana's Alessandro Perez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Meirelles was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Viana in the 23rd minute of play forced Jacuarana's goalkeeper Guga Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Silveirania:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacuarana:s goal. In the 25th minute there was a penalty for Jacuarana. Edgar Sarmento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Charles Meirelles. 0-2. Guga Lira made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Oséias Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. When Edgar Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacuarana's protests and gave Edgar Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Sarmento hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The long shot by Noel Sarmento in the 31st minute really tested Guga Lira's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 33rd minute, Alessandro Perez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jacuarana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Charles Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edvaldo Arantes's late challenge caught a Jacuarana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvaldo Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Silveirania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Guga Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The wind increased when Zé Pedro Viana made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Noel Sarmento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Silveirania and the Jacuarana players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Silveirania getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Noel Sarmento hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Zé Pedro Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Charles Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Alessandro Perez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Charles Meirelles. The goal made the score 0-4. Alberto Pontess short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Charles Meirelles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Guga Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Viana in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Zé Pedro Viana made a precise shot to the right of Guga Lira. Jacuarana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Edvaldo Arantes kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Silveirania got a freekick which was hit by Noel Sarmento. 85 minutes into the game, Jacinto Hoffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silveirania's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jacuarana the free kick. When Alessandro Perez came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Jacuarana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Perez couldn't finish the play. Charles Meirelles came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacuarana's Alberto Pontes. But to his dismay, Alberto Pontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Guga Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Viana in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Viana in the 92nd minute of play forced Jacuarana's goalkeeper Guga Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Oliveira in the 95th minute of the match.
