To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodolfo Matos came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by CARDINEL's Luís Gustavo Abraão. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cléber Macedo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Botelho saved CARDINEL from getting behind. In the 24th minute of the match Luís Gustavo Abraão sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Matos skillfully saved the ball. Tomás Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Matos having to interfere. If Carlos Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31stth minute of the game Raúl Neiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alieninjas's Rodolfo Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Raúl Neiva fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CARDINEL's protests and gave Raúl Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rodolfo Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, CARDINEL's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Macedo came free, but Anselmo Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, CARDINEL's goalkeeper Anselmo Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umberto Travassos. Raúl Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Tomás Lago cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Rodolfo Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Macedo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cléber Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Anselmo Botelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umberto Travassos in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Alieninjas's Fabrício Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Botelho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anselmo Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Matos having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, CARDINEL's Carlos Maia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Matos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alieninjas's Rodolfo Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Neiva in the 90th minute of play. Tomás Lago struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rodolfo Matos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CARDINEL. With an all-out effort, CARDINEL's Rodolfo Matos threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raúl Neiva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. CARDINEL were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Alieninjas to leave the ground with a draw.
