Rodolfo Matos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodolfo Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mazinho Jacinto in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Anderson Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Matos. Alieninjas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anderson Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Alieninjas's Rodolfo Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Fonseca in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Umberto Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Matos. Alieninjas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Umberto Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 24th minute, Umberto Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Alieninjas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dedé Ribeiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Macedo in the 37th minute. In the 42nd minute, Anderson Salles made a precise shot to the right of Rodolfo Matos. Alieninjas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Salles in the 46th minute of play forced Alieninjas's goalkeeper Rodolfo Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Alieninjas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fluviopolis were winning 0-5.

In the 53rd minute, Wilton Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 57 minutes into the match, Alieninjas's goalkeeper Rodolfo Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anderson Salles. 58 minutes into the game, César de Queiroz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Matos. César de Queiroz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. 65 minutes into the game, Anderson Salles cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Rodolfo Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anderson Salles was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 69th minute, Wilton Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Matos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Rodolfo Matos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anderson Salles showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 72 minute of play. After 80 minutes, Dedê Cruz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fluviopolis and the Alieninjas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as César de Queiroz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Matos. That made the score 0-11 in the 86 minute of play. When Valdir Nóbrega fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alieninjas's protests and gave Valdir Nóbrega a yellow card for diving instead. When the final whistle sounded Fluviopolis left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alieninjas.
