Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Celsinho Barral took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cacá Abraão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chiquinho Lopes, 1-0. Zé Paulo Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Ramos struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Chiquinho Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENÔMENO FC. 13 minutes into the game, João Paulo Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FENÔMENO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RWD Molenbeek the free kick. After a rather tough play, FENÔMENO FC's João Paulo Santana got a free kick in the 13th minute. After recieving a nice pass, RWD Molenbeek's Carlos Eduardo Monteiro tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to FENÔMENO FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lucas da Fonseca hit a great ball. The supporters of FENÔMENO FC booed when RWD Molenbeek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Paulo Munhoz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celsinho Barral went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Zé Paulo Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Monteiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Paulo Munhoz came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by RWD Molenbeek's Celsinho Barral. But to his dismay, Celsinho Barral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Ramos got free with Chiquinho Lopes in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Saraiva hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Cacá Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cacá Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Lopes having to interfere. If Luís Gustavo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giovanni Saraiva's late challenge caught a FENÔMENO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to RWD Molenbeek getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Giovanni Saraiva hit a great ball. After 47 minutes of play, FENÔMENO FC's Luís Gustavo Ramos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Gustavo Ramos was the one to do the kick off. Lucas da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Lopes having to interfere. When FENÔMENO FC's Lucas da Fonseca in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RWD Molenbeek's goalie prevented a goal. RWD Molenbeek's Chiquinho Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas da Fonseca in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, RWD Molenbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Ramos came free, but Chiquinho Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, FENÔMENO FC's Cacá Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chiquinho Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Celsinho Barral kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Paulo Munhoz. That made the score 3-3 in the 76 minute of play. RWD Molenbeek's Chiquinho Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Ramos in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, FENÔMENO FC's Cacá Abraão made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Abraão in the 87th minute of play forced RWD Molenbeek's goalkeeper Chiquinho Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Ramos in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Lucas da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvério Linares was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. Chiquinho Lopes went to the wrong direction when Lucas da Fonseca was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Chiquinho Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Ramos in the 97th minute of play. Chiquinho Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cacá Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the FENÔMENO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
