Gilmar Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilmar Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor Hoffmann hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Josué Quadros made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Dorin Cazimir sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Valladares in the 14th minute of play forced Leto Team's goalkeeper Nando Pernambucano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franz Maurers short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Josué Quadros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Franz Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leto Team's attentive Olavo Marinho managed to snatch the ball when Igor Hoffmann made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Maurício Fantini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Eurico Macedo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvir's protests and gave Eurico Macedo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porvir getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eurico Macedo hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Leto Team's Dorin Cazimir got a free kick in the 34th minute. Josué Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franz Maurer in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the game, Franz Maurer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Josué Quadros. Franz Maurer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 48thth minute of the game Franz Maurer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvir's Josué Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Macedo to make the kick off. Josué Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurício Fantini, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match Porvir got a corner. Leto Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bruno Valladares ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vítor Donatello tried in the 56th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Nando Pernambucano a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. Eurico Macedo got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eurico Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Josué Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Maurer in the 60th minute of play. Porvir were furious when Gilmar Albuquerque was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Porvir! Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franz Maurer's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Leto Team's Franz Maurer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Quadros narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72nd minute Leto Team were awarded a corner. Maurício Fantini went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Franz Maurer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leto Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Franz Maurer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Franz Maurer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leto Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Maurer in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Quadros saved Porvir from getting behind. Pedro da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Tarso Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josué Quadros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tarso Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Maurer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Franz Maurer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Josué Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Josué Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Cazimir in the 91st minute of play. A throw-in in the 95th minute of the game was made by Igor Hoffmann with Wellington Leme as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Tarso Santos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the game, Rogério Leme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leto Team the free kick. A collision led to Porvir getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Rogério Leme hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Leto Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Porvir had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
