After a defensive mix-up in Real Invictus F.C's zone, Laércio Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Furtado came out of the goal and Laércio Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chicão de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Furtado having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Genílson Monteiro in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Mattos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes Argenita FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Tasso. Real Invictus F.C's Gustavo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Pontes in the 26th minute of play. The supporters of Real Invictus F.C booed when Argenita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laércio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Real Invictus F.C getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Genílson Monteiro hit a great ball. When Chicão de Souza got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gustavo Furtado was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Real Invictus F.C's Gustavo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chicão de Souza in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 59th minute, Alfredo Tasso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argenita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 64th minute Laércio Pontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73rd play minutes Genílson Monteiro shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Diego Mattos and just under the crossbar into goal. Walmir Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Chicão de Souza who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Gustavo Furtado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 82 minutes of play, Argenita FC's Chicão de Souza made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio Pontes in the 88th minute of play forced Real Invictus F.C's goalkeeper Gustavo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Invictus F.C's Gustavo Furtado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Invictus F.C from getting a goal against them. Pedro Luiz Fantini hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Genílson Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Real Invictus F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Argenita FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Argenita FC.
