Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Leopoldo Pirani made the kick off and thus started the match. After a rather tough play, Valdelino EC's Emerson Alvarenga got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Valdelino EC's Alexsandro Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magno de Mendonça in the 9th minute of play. João Francisco Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexsandro Guedes having to interfere. When Magno de Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the DoSitio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Magno de Mendonça couldn't finish the play. A collision led to DoSitio getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. João Francisco Bueno hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Magno de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alexsandro Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. João Francisco Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexsandro Guedes having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, Magno de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Magno de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Francisco Bueno in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Magno de Mendonça to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Magno de Mendonça had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexsandro Guedes. Valdelino EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Magno de Mendonça was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by DoSitio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Raphael Carneiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Valdelino EC's players had a chance to rest. Remo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, João Francisco Bueno managed to get in a good position for a shot. DoSitio's supporters rose to their feet, but João Francisco Bueno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magno de Mendonça did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Alexsandro Guedes 83 minutes into the match. Alexsandro Guedes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Carlos Vale. Magno de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Alexsandro Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The DoSitio supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DoSitio would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
