Josué Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magno de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Eurico Macedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remo Lima having to make a save. A collision led to Porvir getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristiano Macedo hit a great ball. Eurico Macedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Remo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Porvir's Bruno Valladares got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eurico Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes, Carlos Maciel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Porvir and the DoSitio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Porvir got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Maciel. After a defensive mix-up in Porvir's zone, Magno de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Quadros came out of the goal and Magno de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Josué Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Magno de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Porvir's Josué Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rogério Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Remo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, João Francisco Bueno made a precise shot to the right of Josué Quadros. Porvir's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half DoSitio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Macedo to make the kick off. Josué Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno de Mendonça in the 57th minute of the match. Remo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breno Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, DoSitio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Rogério Leme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magno de Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Josué Quadros made a huge save. After some careless play in the DoSitio defense, Eurico Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remo Lima. The DoSitio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remo Lima should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Aparecido got free with Josué Quadros in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Breno Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Remo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, DoSitio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porvir's Josué Quadros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Porvir from getting a goal against them. Josué Quadros made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Júlio Aparecido sent off a good shot on target. Josué Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno de Mendonça in the 95th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
