The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto de Queiroz during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, BV Paulista's Fausto de Queiroz got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Carlos Maciel fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvir's protests and gave Carlos Maciel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th match minute, Porvir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Hugon Kowalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Quadros having to interfere.
